They Call Him Yahweh But.........

The Hebrews hold God in great owe,they call him Yahweh  but write YHWH out of deep reference. Who would dare to call him by his name ? Such was their understanding.

Truth is that; God is incomprehensible. Philosophers have not understood him,so they can't describe him,and poets recites lines about the Mighty One whose ways are incomprehensible.

Job in his time of anguish cried : " O that I might know where to find him".Yet God who approved of his ordeal was with him all along.Job realised that when the "the lines fell in pleasant place" for him.

They  call him by name,but,because his silence is eloquent and his voice thunders,to the shaking of proud foundations.They know that " His ways are past finding out".

Moses enjoyed extravagant dose of God's love  and thus ,as is human, nursed a sense of entitlement. He said to God; "Show me your face ".God's reply was direct and uncomplimentary - " You cannot see my face and live".

This incomprehensible God "made his ways known to Moses,his deeds to the people of Israel ".

They  called him by name but wrote YHWH. God is awesome, but in this dispensation we may well write and call his revealed names in full.We are resting on the love of the One who sent his Christ for the salvation of mankind. Shalom !

So Jesus actually died on the cross on a Friday known and referred to by Christians world over as Good Friday? Yes,he died on the cross and that was not a weekend fun.It was a serious heavenly mandate by God that he should take upon himself the sins of mankind.For the Scripture has said that; "Without the shedding of blood there would be no remission of sin".
